Simple it won’t allow me to use it with the light not on, seriously like how the heck do they not even think of that.

The app works but way too basic for ceiling fan use. You can’t change the name for the ceiling fan if you have multiple fans and would like to identify each one differently. I created a room, but when you open the app up you automatically default to the first one listed (hall) which has noting listed u see it. I wish you could reorganize the rooms on your app so that the new room I created will show up first and not look like my app is empty! The fan is hardwired to wall switch. If you turn off the wall switch and at some point turn it back on, fan defaults to off power and you have to use the remote or app to turn it back on instead of it turn on automatically from last setting.
