The app is virtually useless. I was able to scan my initial filter however it does not allow me to mark it as being used (when attempting to do so the indicator just spins) and therefore there isn’t a way for you to initiate the six month counter feature which should alert you when it’s time to replace the filter. The device does register the capsule you are using and has a countdown on when to replace the actual capsule which is nice however when it comes to tracking your liquid intake for the day, it also doesn’t register. For instance, the unit will automatically register that I dispensed an amount of liquid from the unit, lets you see whether you dispensed water or utilized the capsule however when you attempt to swipe and add to your daily count, you also get the spinning wheel which never clears. I’ve cleared the app, deleted and reinstalled to now avail. I emailed the company and was told they will be performing an update soon and can email me personally when a new filter needs to be placed however there is still not an update and the app is thereby useless. I purchased the unit as a way to encourage increased water consumption and it would be nice to see whether I’m actually hitting my goals.
