Obviously it can’t exist in a vacuum, but I’ve ever had the thought “this is the best thing I’ve bought for making noise!” Lacking features for iOS: MIDI Learn + iPhone compatibility - hope those are on the roadmap!

There is a lot to like about this midi generator with nothing I know quite like it in functionality. I am only removing one star because I feel the interface needs to be adapted for a touchscreen. The UX clearly was designed for a desktop user first. On the iPad 12.9 some buttons are so small it requires the Apple Pencil for any type of accuracy. Imagine if this had big kinetic sliders for live play…

At first, I had a big problem in Logic. Everything was never in sync with my tempo. It was driving me crazy, making me think this app was too hard to use and not for me. Then, I figured my Logic was set up for 48khz, and switched it to 44.1, and bam. It worked… and wow… just setting 2 midi notes on a loop, and playing with the settings, I came up with hundreds of beautiful melodies. After understanding what each option does by trial and error, I understood how I can not just create, but evolve these melodies in real time. This is criminally cheap for what it can do. It blows my collection of midi sequencers out of the water, and it’s so easy to use once you spend a few minutes understanding it. Buy this, load up some beautiful synths patches, and go on a journey. This app is pure bliss.
