This app is the one every person who has ADHD needs to break their phone addiction. This method specifically has helped me in the last few weeks of discovering this app and how it works. Works so much better than other screen time apps I have tried to use before. One thing that I would love to see in a future update is a custom time instead of only being able to choose five minutes or ten minutes of time before you have to do the mindful thing to unlock the app again. I also find it a bit confusing when choosing the days for the schedule since I don’t know if that the grey means that those days are selected or if if they turn white after clicking on the different day buttons if that means they are selected. Overall, wonderful app!! Cannot wait to see what new updates bring!!!!! Yours best,
I’ve tried numerous blocking apps, but this is the first one that is actually curbing my phone use! FlowBuddy is perfectly tailored to what lights up my ADHD brain. There is no complicated set up, my apps aren’t totally blocked if I forget to tap something before leaving the house, and there’s just the right kind of friction to make me reconsider opening an app, or stop me if I’ve scrolled too long. The little buddy is the secret sauce: when he pops up with his stop sign, I just feel like I can’t let him down. So happy to have found this!
