I have just downloaded this app, and I was excited to begin making stories. However, after about 2 days of having the app, I cannot open my videos it says “unable to open manuscript.” There are times where I can open some videos, but not one of my longest ones.. which is only 4 minutes. I tried clearing up storage but that didn’t work. I was on the 3 day free trial plan and I was using pro. But I decided to wait and make sure this would be fixed first. I will end up making longer videos in the future so I’m hoping this won’t hinder that. I gave it 4 because I do love the app and what it’s done for me so far, but I want to finish and lengthen my stories without worry.

I use Plotagon Studio to produce listening drills for my ESL students, and it's the key to creating interesting lessons within my time budget. In hours of search on the net I haven't found me anything that will produce a usable animated video even a quarter as fast. (The photo realistic AI avatars look cool, but they can only be facing the camera, and you can only have one character per video.)
Pro:
Easy to learn interface. Once you know it, you can produce a video in a few minutes.
You can do a lot of character customization.
There is a reasonable variety of AI voices, and they're good enough for most purposes.
You can export with subtitles or without.
There's a green screen feature so you can superimpose your animated characters on any photo or video you like.
You can dub your own voice over the AI speech.
Con:
You can't control speech speed, subtitle color and size, and some other stuff.
There's a limited choice of camera positions.
No way to add user-created characters or settings.
You can't transfer projects between devices.
Bottom line: I'm going to live within the limitations of Plotagon Studio, hoping for more features down the line. The flexibility and finish I'd get with more advanced apps would come at a huge cost in time, and I'm not up for that.

I have been using Plotagon for a while and just made the transition to Plotagon Studio. So far, it’s great, but I have just one suggestion: Please add back the old voices. I get this is for professional use, but the old voices, just as Rod, were simple and not as sophisticated as the new ones. I used the old voices for Caillou Gets Grounded videos, and Caillou sounds like a dumb default teen. Please add more voices, specifically the older ones.
