Looking for the authY two factor authentication app yielded your little scam by cleverly slipping that L into the title and like the fool that I was didn’t notice that you are in fact, not the app I was looking for. First red flag is the constant demands to sign up for your service when I know that the property application is 100% free. Furthermore, when I did manage to get your app to work, none of my authentication accounts recognize the codes you were giving me. Only after some digging did I see you quite intentionally and tempted to sneak your app into the top searches so that people like myself who might not have noticed the L in your name would break down and give you money. While your actions might not be against the TOS it is truly disgusting. Any company that tries to could wink people like cleverly misspelling their company. Well, you didn’t get a cent from me.

So far I am not happy with this app. It has a number of concerning bugs , and the user interface is not as good as that of others like Google Authenticator or the Microsoft Authenticator. The icon view is just to difficult to navigate for someone with hundreds of accounts. The names get cut off which makes it hard to find what you need. You have to literally EDIT each option just to see the full name. Sometimes I click on one to edit and it brings up the info of a totally different account. This app needs some love from the developers.

Normally, I don’t review apps. But I love Authie, it is so simple and really fast. I moved my all 2FA authenticators to this app. I really like import/export feature. Widget is so good, it helps me to put my 2FA codes on my lock screen. 😎✌️
