I really love this concept - we’ve been needing it!!!
I’m a self-proclaimed digital minimalist, so I was very hesitant to try this app when my girlfriend recommended it. But when I tried it out, I could see that a lot of thought went into this. Not showing mutual friends’ comments. Emoji decorations on photos. No flashy recommended garbage posts. How the “share” button had the paper plane icon to emphasize private sharing of memories. I resonate with the philosophy of the developer a lot. The UX is also decent. You share your photos, they share their photos, you can see the photos in a grid, album, etc. All the basic checklists are met. But the overarching benefit I see from the app is the feel of a private interactions between yourself and the people you care about. After all, that’s what matters, right?
I was getting tired of insta-fakeness, the constant flood of pics, ads, and info of what I don’t want to know or even care is just too much...THEN i found this app! I love that it lets you stay private while connecting only with the friends you actually want to interact with. No pressure whatsoever of how your pics make you look or how you sound! My only wish is that it would be easier to invite your friends so they can easily start using the app.
