Theres allot of talent out there out of earshot of both the public, as well as music producers, who are desperately needed in todays business model to help with funding & promotion. Having producers comes with its own downsides however. They often want a “Look/ Sound” that is appealing to the common listener. The term “sellout” comes to mind. This is great in part why music today has become lacking in the artistry of years past. The exciting part is, this platform will solve that problem by giving power to the independent artist. I love this app and the innovation it brings to the music industry, merging Web 3.0 with music streaming. You can create your own level of subscription/price, and have the option to listen to new music to earn tokens. This is a music platform built for creators and artists. Finally musicians can actually earn a living by sharing their music! It feels good knowing I am actually helping artists, rather than record labels taking just about all their profits. You also don’t need a record label to list and promote your music. This is more than a music platform…it is a community of co-creation.
