If someone asked me what my newest hobby is, I’d have to answer “logging into Smart Tag every three minutes”. Kinda frustrating when you are in the app, move to something else, come back and have to re-login.

I absolutely love the SmartTag app and how useful it is for parents. Being notified when my daughter gets on and off the bus, when she’s dropped off at school, picked up, and even how close she is to being dropped off gives me incredible peace of mind. As a parent, that level of awareness is priceless and makes every school day feel a little less stressful. While I know the app could use some minor fixes here and there, I truly believe many concerns come from parents wanting more without fully understanding how the system is meant to work. Overall, SmartTag does exactly what it’s supposed to do—and it does it well. I genuinely appreciate how it keeps me updated and connected to my child’s daily routine. I’m very thankful for SmartTag and the reassurance it provides!

Implementing an app that has customer service replying to our grievances “tried logging out and back in?”. Transportation number now has us guardians practically blocked. What are we supposed to do? My kid has now been late twice in the first two weeks due to the blind trust that this app would be able to do the bare minimum. I had the map telling me the bus was a neighborhood away while it was sitting right in front of me. Should I really need to be buying my child an AirTag ? We live in the Texas heat and this app has the audacity to present itself as deserving to have this many flaws. I’m tired of having to be forgiving on the shortcomings of this excuse of guardian resource. If they’re going to block communication with transportation, they could at least have a batter functioning app. We shouldn’t beg for it to work. We shouldn’t be adapting to it, it should evolve.
