I like the app; it seems to work fine overall. However, I have a few nitpicks: Data Shredding Method: I would appreciate a setting to change the data shredding method or at least to know which one is the default (e.g., DoD, NIST, Gutmann). Cache Management: After using the app a few times, it takes up a lot of free space, and I have to reinstall it to clear the cache. A button to clear it in-app would be convenient. Privacy Concerns: I'm confused about why an app for shredding data needs so many vendors and ad partners (142 TCF vendors, 68 ad partners), especially since it doesn’t seem to have ads. Additionally, the privacy settings could benefit from an option to only store necessary information for data destruction, or even a "decline all" button. Other than these points, it’s a great app and the only shredder I can find on the app store.
It works
