Until, one day my fingers stumbled upon this amazing app and a tight knot was formed from the frays. I am on day 100+; I am living and loving my growth but most importantly I found a safe space just for me. I share a little or a lot of me. Why? Because it depends on my mood. I don’t have to meet a specific number of words to enter my feelings. The best part of this journaling experience is on the days when I answer the prompt with IDK or I can’t go there today and the response is understanding. This app prompted self care through the immense grief I was experiencing due to the anniversary of my Mom’s transcendence. I appreciate that when I choose not to type and do an audio entry this app does its best to decipher what I am expressing while falling apart. I have tried journaling my whole adult life and could not get with it but this app gets the fundamentals correct and then goes beyond that point. I have shared this app with others and the one thing I express is that, the invite does not mean our journals are shared with each other. Thank you Ma’am for creating such a safe and caring space.

I am always a little leery when downloading apps. It seems like so many of them start out saying that they are free, then you find out it was just a trial. This app is 100% free. Now for the more important part. This app is a lot of fun. I love the daily prompts. There are some really random ones that I have seen, like, “Describe your mood today as if it were a drink.” There is also a daily gratitude prompt and a daily check-in, which is basically just a place to journal about your day and discover your overall mood for the day. That might be my favorite part. You write about how your day is going and you get a response back with a question, it’s a little bit of back and forth. I love it!! It is a great way to end my day. When you’re all done with the three parts, you are given an insight into your day and suggestions for tomorrow. At the end of the week, you get a review of how your week felt overall. I have told many people about this app and I hope others get as much satisfaction from it as I do! Thank you for creating such a wonderful app!!

I have been super busy lately but still wanted to journal daily. I had always done a daily reflection and daily gratitude and an occasional random prompt in a physical journal, but on days when I had a lot to say it took a lot of time and that caused me to skip a lot of days journaling. Using this app and my Bluetooth keyboard has been the perfect solution. I am able to hop on daily and dump my thoughts out which is very therapeutic. And it is nice to see a recap/summary of my entries each day and each week. The only thing that I don’t love in the summary is some of the suggested activities offered with the summary of my thoughts - in fact they sometimes annoy me. Most of them are not only things I have no desire to do, but I am already spending all the time I am willing to spend doing the entries. Most of the suggestions are not really helpful or easy to do. I wish I could turn that part of the recap off, but other than that I have found this app super helpful to work through my day each day.
