I got this app at the instruction of my Fiat dealer for the charging credit. First, it took 3 months for the charging credits to land on my account. I called and emailed customer service a dozen times and they kept telling me “maybe check back in another week.” Now that the charging credits are here, I have multiple issues with the app itself. Most of the Flo charging stations near me do not show up on the map to select to start charging. I get an error message at 4/5 charging stations near me. Or if I do manage to get to the start screen, it shows as faulty. Very inconsistent app. I even called flo to help and they said they are moving away from this app and focusing on using other EV charging apps.
This app is terrible. First of all, it doesn’t connect to my recently installed Free2Move Level 2 home charger. It initially connects via Bluetooth, but won’t complete the WiFi connection step(doesn’t display available networks). It’s poorly formatted for the screen size of my iPhone 16 ProMax and is overall very clunky. The public charging station function is basically a poorly implemented version of the ChargePoint app(whose native app works much better). Here’s a tip if you’re stuck with a Free2Move home charger. The charger itself is manufactured by WallBox. If you install their app, it connects and functions seamlessly with this unit. It actually offers far more functionality than Free2Move. If you opted for the free public charging credits when you purchased your Stellantis vehicle, you’re kinda stuck with this app until you’ve used them up. After that, I would dump it.
Found this app through the link inside my vehicle app. I am super impressed! Seamless UI / UX, and was able to link my existing FCA account. Searching for a charger is easy, and has all of the chargers nearby me (and some other ones that are new to me)! Great search filters, and starting a charge from the app works great after I link my ChargePoint account in the app.
