I absolutely love this app and everyone knows it!! I’ve told everyone from my friends to my parents to my therapist about this app. As an ADHD person I get ads literally all the time on Instagram for apps like inflow that I never used because they either require a purchase upfront before I even see the app or they’re all about learning and discovery. I’ve had adhd for 30 years and was diagnosed at 15; I know plenty about the disorder, I don’t need modules to describe how my brain works I just need to work!! Enter Rich and Rox just on my Instagram feed one day and it changed my life forever. I have other co-occurring mental health conditions that make life so incredibly hard, having a resource like dubbii to help me get through the things that need to get done without having to constantly lean on others is truly invaluable. The sense of accomplishment and independence that this app has given me is second to none. Truly I cannot thank you both enough, Rich and Rox you are the best!!!!
I have been using dubbii for a while and I really think that this is the best thing for me. I have ADHD and my psychiatrist has always assumed that I also have autism but I’ve never been tested for autism anyway I have a terrible time concentrating on doing every day tasks and until I found this wonderful couple, I had no idea that body doubling was a thing. I used to drag my husband into every room with me and just sit there so that I could do every day tasks that seemed really hard. My husband also has ADHD but he is very unaware of how it affects him on a day-to-day basis, and he cannot sit still and he constantly paces. It’s really hard for him to be a body double person for me. Sometimes I have to pay him two dollars to get him to stay with me for 20 minutes. I mean, whatever works right. But now that I have this app, I don’t need to drag him with me into every room. Now I can just watch Rox and Rich do everything that I need to get done and it helps me focus immensely. I am so glad that they created it and Without it I would be lost. I cannot explain how grateful I am to the both of you for thinking of all of us in the world, who need help. For people who don’t understand it might seem like a simple thing to make the bed but it can take me eight hours. Sometimes it takes me all day to make the bed and then when I finally do make the bed it’s time to go to bed, and then I never feel accomplished. I would rate this app 10 out of 10 stars. I love it so much and YOU should download it too because it will really change your life. Love to both Rich and Rox. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I have only just begun to use this app and I am loving it. I have not been able to stop coming up with ideas and wanted to share in hopes it eventually gets incorporated. would love for each task to have a low energy and high energy version so that there feels like more of an option if i need to do more of the bare minimum. Like for cleaning if there is a definitely do this to avoid mold, nasty smells etc to other times when i want to clean out my fridge. i think it would be fun if deeper cleaning things were suggested as bonus items and get points for doing them. it would make them feel less like a chore. it would also be cool if there was a note taking portion of the app to store thoughts about chores or tasks but you don’t necessarily want to be a nudge. I was also thinking about if there was a way for users to create custom tasks that let’s say i have a specific task to do, i could break down the steps and have it stored in the app as a task i could complete many times over, yea it wouldn’t have the body doubling portion but i think it would be useful itself. i think a fun thing to add to the body doubling portion is if it showed you how many people had that task open , don’t have to show who it is (although if you had friends on it and could see what one of your friends was working on or struggling on and sending a message or some interactive feature). thinking about if there is a way for when i first grab my phone in the morning it would open the morning routine (or another task) making me more inclined to go ahead and get up and do it. i know this is a lot but it’s been making me think a lot about how we can use social media to our advantage instead of doom scrolling all the time. even if only one of these things happened i’d be so happy. some im sure are more complicated than others and ive never built an app but just an excited adhd person wanting to get everything i can out of an amazing app.
