It has no idea what's being said at all! Words are spelled in different languages that aren't even being spoken. I set it to Spanish but it it's transcribing in French, Polish, German barely any Spanish and various Asian languages. I was hoping it could help me because I'm deaf but forget it. Don't waste your time with this pos joke of an app! 😡
The app is so slow it is useless, and that was in a nearly silent room with only me speaking. It does nothing to delineate different speakers. I used a cartoonish voice to see if it would (at least) drop down to a new text line… Nope. Just added it after the last thing I said. Nothing in printed text to indicate change in speaker or time index. It doesn’t even retain past spoken lines! This flaw combined with the stupid long delay makes this profoundly useless. Just USING built in voice recognition on my iPad or iPhone is 10x faster AND more accurate. What I actually wanted to use this for was to add subtitles irl. Specifically I want to use the app in a crowded board game club to ‘subtitle’ what everyone is saying, so that when I miss a word or phrase someone said for some reason, I can glance down and see what they said.
I am glad that I found it. It is working very well but a little delay. I test it with tv voice to my iPhone Apple And I noticed that it delay before it will captioning for me. Tv spoke first and it received about 10 seconds later. I hope you can improvement it to receive the voice on tv and this app at the same time. I will raise to 4 star if you do this.
