Between you guys and Rusty Lake's "The Past Within", it seems like all my favorite indie game devs are conspiring to add intense motion sickness to their solid game franchises. It would be relatively easy to make an option that lets the third of us who get motion sick play: have 4 locked directions in each room that show all the walls, add arrows to the sides for the player to switch between them, remove the swoopy transitions side to side and the swoops in and out of zooms, badabingbadaboom. You can keep the game essential 3D mechanic bits like the objects that can be viewed and turned around if you like, turning an object is much less sickness inducing than turning your environment, and plenty of those objects were really interestingly designed. But yeah, the 3d element of the environment didn't add anything but motion sickness for the third of the population affected, and it removed some of the charm of the art style.

I absolutely love forgotten hill and have all of your games which I LOVE!! I just wanted to let you know, however, that after hanging the spider cage onto the hook, my game has glitched, and I am frozen on top of the chair and not able to move through the next doorway. Is there anyway to patch this, so I don’t have to lose all my game progress, please? Thank you thank you thank you!

I’ve played all the Forgotten Hill games and really liked them. I’m one of those unfortunate souls that gets motion sickness, so there’s a lot of mystery games I can’t play, so it was exciting to find a developer that made engaging games without all the spinning, quick zooms, etc of other games. So I was really sad when I realized that the newest Forgotten Hill game (this one) had incorporated that stuff. I tried to play it a couple times, but I’d have to click on something and then quickly close my eyes so that the swooping camera wouldn’t make me sick. That gets really old, really quickly. So I wasted my money - which bothers me less than just not being able to play the game! Please go back to the old format with your next game. Please, please, please. Please.
