**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** I discovered LiWen through her Instagram videos and signed up because I was looking for a way to learn more effectively, efficiently and methodically on my own time. Her straight-to-the-point technique exercises with crystal-clear instructions were exactly what I needed. The online members-only workshops with live feedback and real-time Q&A are exceptional. LiWen’s teaching is helping me gain more confidence and believe in myself more in two major ways: First, she breaks down complex techniques into clear, manageable steps, giving me a systematic approach to learning. Second, her specific, actionable feedback shows me exactly how to fix issues and practice correctly on my own. Her teaching style is supportive, encouraging, patient, and remarkably clear. After experiencing her online instruction, I tried her live classes and absolutely love them - she knows exactly what each student needs to focus on. I started dancing less than 2 years ago and went through a lot of trial and error with different methods, sometimes losing hope. But with LiWen’s guidance, I can finally see genuine progress! I still have a lot to work on, but I’m slowly gaining confidence, which feels incredible after those early struggles. I wish I had found her earlier! If you want technical precision combined with genuine care for student progress, LiWen is the teacher you need. Highly recommend both online workshops and live classes.

I found this app while I was searching online trying to find the proper techniques for the American rhythm dance. I absolutely love this app and now I am hooked! The program break down all of the techniques and steps into small sections so a beginner dancer like me would be able to follow easily and do not feel overwhelmed by it. I also love how LiWen will put together a routine at the end of each section so that I can follow along and practice what I’ve learned. Once you signed up for her program, she has online class she offers and it is free for members to attend. I found those online workshops very useful and she gives you feedback during the workshops. Her program is different than others because she actually gives her personal touch to the students. LiWen would email me and ask about my progress and see if I have any questions. In my opinion, this is the best Latin or American rhythm dance online program and I am so glad I signed up!

I love this app. LiWen breaks each movement into manageable pieces and creates videos that allow users to layer their skills, building a strong dance foundation. Her challenges (series of short videos to use on a specific skill, like balance or body rolls), are wonderful. Each video is short - approximately 5 minutes - so that I can use them each day when practicing by myself. I also really appreciate that her videos on techniques like rumba and cha cha use a metronome and train us to gradually build up speed. For members, LiWen offers live Zoom sessions in which she gives personalized feedback, always with a big smile and a lovely combination of encouragement and specific suggestions for improvement. Plus, the app interface is great. Each time I finish a video, it gives a satisfying green check mark, and the app allows me to schedule videos on a calendar. Really great! Five stars!
