Presto - EV Charging Stations

I drive for Uber and I signed up as an Uber pro driver so I get discounts that are really great for me. I usually use the EVgo but they’ve totally changed their rates. Now even at 3 o’clock in the morning I’m being charged $.51 per with Presto I get The same charger at $.31 per. EV go has also moved to where the only way you can get a discount is by signing up for a monthly fee service. And now they’ve also added $.99 per session. I used to be able to charge at the EVgo stations early in the morning for $.31 per and now it’s $.51 unless I join one of their monthly payment plans. I’ve already let EVgo know that I won’t be using them BUT I’M NOT TELLING THEM ABOUT THIS SERVICE BECAUSE I DON’T WANT THEM TO DISCONTINUE LETTING PRESTO GIVE US THE DISCOUNTS. BUT EVGO USED TO BE AWESOME NOW NOT AT ALL. SO THANKS TO PRESTO I CAN GET CONSTANT DISCOUNTS. AS A 4 TO 5 DAY A WEEK UBER DRIVER, I REALLY want to THANK YOU PRESTO FOR MAKING MY EXPENSES A LOT LESS. I WOULD GIVE YOU 10 STARS IF I COULD! (sorry about the all caps my phone just suddenly switched everything I just wrote into caps here and I am too tired to do them over because it’s 5:06 AM))

Fellow Gig workers who have been offered the use of this app as a perk connected to your job. You absolutely have to get this one if you’re driving an EV or Plug in Hybrid. This app makes upside almost completely useless. You can use any card you have, or even Apple Pay! The support team is amazing, fast, and actually good at their jobs! Now if only ours were! Uber, you could learn a lot about what actual support is from these folks! The discounts though, oh my GOODNESS! They’re not just real, but AMAZING! And you don’t have to wait weeks or even months for them to be applied, nor do you have to go to the app to get your money back from them. They’re applied at the charger, you actually get to hold on to your own money, and they save you real money, not just a few penny’s per fill up. Or recharge. Whomever is leading this company is brilliant! They know what so many other companies in today’s world seem to have forgotten. And it’s the MOST IMPORTANT THING ANY COMPANY CAN KNOW! Simply put, if you want to build up a truly loyal customer base, you have to ACTUALLY PROVIDE A GREAT PRODUCT, BETTER SERVICE, AND ABOVE ALL, TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE YOU KNOW YOUR LIVELIHOOD DEPENDS ON THEM. Presto, I am so glad to have found you, and am looking forward to working with you folks for years to come as well as seeing what wonderful and new ways y’all come up with to improve the lives of those who use your service. Just remember, if it ain’t broke, DONT FIX IT!

Recently rented from Hertz and was surprised that I was put in an EV under their ‘manager special’ deal. I was hesitant at first, but the person at the counter said I could download this app that would make charging easy. I gotta say, as a first-time EV driver, this was a way better experience than I had expected. The app did, I think, exactly what it’s supposed to, which is tell me which chargers to go to that would work and allow me to start my charging session without needing to download an additional app. The other thing I liked was being able to monitor how much I was adding to the battery because I only wanted to get it to the % needed without getting an extra charge from Hertz. The one thing that I wish it could’ve done though was associate my Hertz reservation so I didn’t have to download another app and put in my payment information… but I suppose I would’ve had to do that with any other charger app.
