My little girl and I went to eat in town and used the app to notify MAT that we would be returning on the 840 shuttle. The app accepted the request and stated it would be 14 minutes for our ride to arrive, well before the cute off. We waited 45 minutes with constant changes in times on the app, and then suddenly nothing. We ended up stranded in town and had to rely on the kindness of strangers to help us get back to our hotel safely. Very dangerous and unacceptable.
Our vehicle broke down and our hotel was on the north end of town without this service. It would’ve cost of a fortune in taxi service to go back-and-forth for restaurants and shopping lovely service, lovely personnel and what a wonderful app.
App is great! A bit more info about the buses that run a loop vs. the ones on demand would be helpful, otherwise I’m very happy with it. Also, being able to schedule a pickup for a general time would be nice.
