Contour Airlines

I mean truly the worst airline app. First, my precheck even though it was submitted under my personal info, no where to be found on my boarding pass. Had to call customer service to uncheck me in??? So that I could try again, then that only worked from my computer and I could only add the passes to my Apple wallet from the app. THEN this useless app will only pull up my boarding passes and not my 3 year olds, so I have to have screenshots of her boarding passes while mine is added, in hopes that it works. Never mind I had to click on everything 12 times to make it even work, I have a million boarding passes on my account for both of us (all of which are useless), and the boarding passes are so hard to find and weren’t displaying correct information anyway. USELESS!!!!

Where I live, Contour works under contract with American Airlines. However, for some reason your Contour tickets, boarding passes, and such doesn’t transfer over to the American Airlines app. You have to go thru Contour’s website or app separately to check in and get your tickets, but it’s a huge hassle. They require you to know your ticket number and tell you it’s printed on your ticket if you want to check in to your flight — but most people don’t HAVE the ticket until they’re checked in. This makes it exponentially difficult to check in or get a ticket. When I switched over from the web to try the app, I was able to see my upcoming flight but it didn’t offer a boarding pass! At every connection with contour I had to have either the TSA agent or Gate agent look up my pass with my ID. I have received great service on Contour flights, but their app is the pits. Please fix it or work with American so that my Contour boarding pass shows up on their app.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I downloaded the app and entered all my contact information on the app 48 hours prior to my flight. I registered my flight number and information. On the day of my flight, my TSA Pre-check info was non-existent but flight was otherwise ok. The real problems started on my return flight. I checked on 24 hours before my flight. However, the app wouldn’t let me view and save a boarding pass. On the day of my flight I started with American Airlines and connected to my Contour flight. First, the AA gate agent could not provide a boarding pass for Contour, even though they have an agreement. Second, I could not access a boarding pass or see my gate number up until the time my flight left (which I missed). Third, the gate number on the departure screen was incorrect. I provided contact information in the app. Fourth, The gate agent said she tried to call me and my phone went to voicemail. Note - I had 5 bars of reception in the airport and received numerous other calls and texts while in the airport. Bottom line: the app doesn’t provide customers with accurate real-time information and accessing it is detrimental to a pleasant experience with this carrier. Pilots and staff were great!
