Pencil Calendar: Daily Planner

This app has so much potential, but there are so many glaring issues that I ended up uninstalling within the hour. Number one, navigation is TERRIBLE! Half the time when clicking a button, it just doesn’t work. Trying to get in and out of text boxes is extremely frustrating, trying to resize/reformat text is also a struggle and it only made me mad. Next, the templates section is wonderful, but loading takes so astronomically long. Even when sorting by template type, it can take up to ten minutes for just one template to load. You spend more time waiting for the designs to load than you do actually looking for/saving the templates. Overall, I couldn’t bring myself to use or recommend this app in its current state. There were so many problems with optimization and general quality of life that it ends up paling in comparison to other noteworthy planner/journaling apps already out there.

Overall i think this is a great app. You can draw out your schedule with stickers, templates, and more. One thing about this app is that it’s just premium, premium, PREMIUM. I can only use like a tenth of all of the stickers and templates. I know you use it to get money, but i’d just offer more things to users who are using the app for free. Another thing is that the post it note stickers are supposed to have things on them, but whenever i try to draw or write words on top if it it thinks that i want to select the sticker, so i have to move the sticker, write, then move it back. Also, could you maybe let us make more AI generated stickers per day or maybe not have a limit? Maybe 5 per day would be nice. I just got this app yesterday and find it pretty useful!

Let me just start insane that the graphics are amazing and the design is beautiful, but there were negative and positives. Negative: the AI feature was not helpful but I think it has a great potential to be a wonderful thing. There are limited things you can do even if you subscribe and Pay. Found it hard to put on stickers. You don’t get a lot of pre-downloaded stickers to choose from and notes etc. to choose from. Positive: everything about this app is super pretty and very aesthetic. I loved the pre-downloaded stickers and there was a lot about the app that change the font you can customize how you want to do your notes and you can draw on it. Payment: I honestly think that apps like this should be more affordable but I understand that people need to make money off their products The end: this was a good app but there are some things that need to be fixed. I would recommend this app two people static and like doing things kind of DIY on an iPad or a phone but I don’t recommend this to someone who just wants to get things done.
