I have now switched from Remitly to Aspora for sending money. It’s reliable, and more importantly the customer support is good and responsive. I had a few hiccups when i was trying to send a slightly larger sum of money, and the team was highly responsive and helped me instantly.

Me and my wife both tried using Aspora to send money to India from the US because they advertised a $25 bonus on the first transfer. We entered all our account and receiver details, waited three days, and then got a message saying the bank was not accepting the transfer — so we had to cancel.
When my wife tried the same, her transaction was also cancelled. On top of that, once you cancel, you’re no longer eligible for the $25 bonus, even though the failure wasn’t our fault. Very frustrating and misleading experience. Would not recommend.
