The Pearl Island

I downloaded this app mainly for the limousine service, but it’s been disappointing. Wait times are always 8–15 minutes, and drivers don’t consistently drop you at your exact destination (next to the door). The app itself is slow and doesn’t offer anything beyond what Google Maps already provides. I also called to book a ride at 9:30 AM and was told the service only starts at 10 AM, which is very inconvenient for residents. Honestly, I’d rather book an Uber than use this service.

Easy to use and convenient for finding options across retail stores, restaurants, cafés, and more. The best feature is the ability to request a car to transfer across the island for free.

The pearl taxi does not allow for kids under 18 to use the limousine services, this does not make sense as children who do not have a car are more prone to use the services and adults over 18 probably have a mode of transportation. I guess that my child will have to use an uber and produce more carbon emissions which will counteract the pearls mission 🫤. Please think these things through
