Old post: I keep getting a screen that says “Oops something broke besides news”. I saw other reviews regarding this error. Maybe the developers could fix that error.
Update: apparently the issue has been fixed since I am no longer getting that error screen and the app opens like it should.
I like the new format now that I’m used to it. And I can open it. 🙂

Before this app was forced on us, when Fox stations had their own apps, we were able to follow multiple Fox stations by having those station’s apps installed. Now that the local station apps are dead and we’ve been forced to use this all-in-one app, we are restricted to only a single station default, which is aggravating for anyone who is interested in news from more than a single city. Multiple local station functionality should have been a feature from Day 1. The CBS News app has its act together, it has always offered this ability.
You have responded repeatedly to reviewers here for months that you’re aware of this deficiency and are working to rectify it, but here we are, still waiting.
Can you give us an ETA? This app is dead to many of us until this issue is properly addressed.

All I’ve seen since this app debuted and replaced all the individual local Fox apps are complaints about the push notification preferences and not being able to get alerts from more than one local outlet. You all keep saying it’s coming in future updates but each new update it’s. It available. This app is getting worse and worse with each update just because of the push notification limitations. I’ll say it again: the CBS News app got it right from its inception with the push notification options when it did the same thing last year and did away with the individual local apps for one app. Until you guys do the same, I will continue to not use this app and will continue to give it only a one-star rating.
