I’ve used every charging network, app, and system under the sun, and I’ve had better experiences with cheap Chinese spyware apps. When you plug in, the app requires you to schedule out time to charge. Assuming it actually starts charging your car, (which seems to be a die roll to decide if it actually does) you then run into another problem: what if you want to leave before that scheduled stop time? Well, luckily IntelliCharge has you covered: you don’t get to leave before your scheduled time, unless you change it to the nearest increment of 5 minutes, because there’s no obvious way to just end your charging session. Ending it through your car’s app doesn’t work, because the charger will just immediately tell the car to start charging again, so you’re stuck there until the schedule says you’re done. Seriously, this system is awful.
The app freezes every time I open it and try to charge. No that’s not true, it was open and working long enough to take $50 from my card, then when I went to charge my car it magically froze over and over again. This is a ripoff, save $50 and go charge at a Tesla supercharger. Horrible
Very cool project but the app is incredibly finicky
