A few design flaws make these articles difficult to read. Swiping left or right when in the reader view goes to the next article, which seems like a fine idea on paper. In practice, this functionality misfires constantly, reloading the article from the top of the page each time. The tables are difficult to read because although there is functionality to zoom in on small text, you can not scroll across the rows of the tables once zoomed in. It’s hard to read and process the content smoothly while constantly zooming in and out on various aspects of the table.
Put together, these small design issues really limit the readability of the articles on the app. Although I read other journals and magazines on my phone/tablet without issue, I much prefer the print version of AFP to this app.

I like that I can read on the go, but I downloaded the app so I can take the quiz as I go. This app would be much more widely used if the CME quizzes were available in the app rather than through the link to the aafp website.

Been reading AFP on paper for years but just discovered on line app. Same wonderful journal and have read several months of journals plus taken quizzes on my phone- handy but if I tap or try to enlarge or reduce a table it will often jump back to beginning or completely out. However AAFP Is a great organization and I am confident app will be even better over time
