The Chase

The chase is fun to play, but I personally think that it needs to be updated for the following things, new chaser (The Vixen, Jenny Ryan), Lights behind chaser, to make the 'who's the chaser' be more like the show & when the walk on, change it to make it more realistic People have been commenting on how hard the questions are, I respectfully disagree with that, but I would like to make it so maybe I could make it to chose easy, normal & hard, but Aldo people had ideas to make £1000 = £1 to add to your bank, I think that's a horrible idea, u don't do that on any other apps & it's made just to have fun, not for money! Other thing to upgrade is how fast the chaser is answering, on the show they don't answer as fast, sometimes I would make it so like 1 every week the chaser runs out of time on the head to head round, when u lose, it had changed before it was blue & red when you've been caught, now its red and black, you need to upgrade that too! Also u should make it so when people leave the app, it restarts the game, so it's got less of a chance of cheating! Price, the price of £1.49, it is kinda reasonable but I would lower it to either 69p or 99p I hope u can respect these ideas, and maybe upgrade it!

The gameplay is enjoyable and about as close to the game as you might expect from such an app. I don't agree with some reviewers that the standard questions are any harder than the show. Given multiple choice all the way through actually makes it rather easier than drawing answers just from memory/knowledge. The negatives? I think the relative aptitude of the chasers is reversed (I won't say who I think is toughest in real life, but it's not reflected in the app). The bigger negative is that there is too small a bank of questions and after about a week of frequent play over the Christmas holiday, I'm remembering so many of the answers I'm beating every chaser the majority of the time (and although I have a decent general knowledge, I don't think I'm that good). I'd like to see additional question packs made available - I'd happily pay another quid a pop. As it is I possibly have a week's worth of enjoyment left before it becomes just too easy, which is a shame. Btw - I don't know if it's changed, but I got the casual questions free. Only tried them a couple of times, but they don't seem to be a lot easier. It may be levelling as I get so used to the standard questions. Make more available please! Should be fairly easy given the huge bank of questions the show must have generated by now.

Really exciting game. More challenging than answering the questions on tv. I agree with a lot of reviewers that it does seem as though there are harder questions but having said that, I do actually remember a lot of them from the show. Maybe they have just filtered out the harder from the easier. Luckily they also offer an easy question mode for your off days. It could always be improved by adding video or quips but I think the use of device storage would not be worth it for video. I would like to see a bit of banter though just to get the personalities. It is a real shame there is no Bradley, he is the heart of the show.
