Northern Train Tickets & Times

I really needed this app for an upcoming trip but you can’t use the “Map my Journey” feature because it constantly gives a “Oops! Can’t load Google Maps” error message. The Search function doesn’t work either. I’m disappointed because it would have been a valuable tool for traveling around the country as a tourist but I had to delete it. I will just use the website and personal map instead. I did reach out to the staff but no one answered me.

Whereas the trains themselves can be unreliable, this app has never let me down. It has the most accurate information on train status, including cancellations. It’s extremely quick and easy to buy tickets.

It makes booking simple and fast. It’s not the world’s cheapest transit option, but the app is great.
