The app does most functions but I’m frustrated that all my accounts don’t show. I’ve asked the branch several times for help with no resolution. I also until recently could not transfer funds between accounts online. It took at least 2 years until that finally was fixed. Overall the app is okay but there are still big bugs that need fixed.
Being that your drive ups close at 4:30 it makes it impossible to make deposits/payments. Most people don’t get off early enough to get there before it closes. That is not customer service. When making deposits through the mobile app you have to wait until your deposit is approved and then wait again for the deposit to get posted until you can make the loan payment. This process length is ridiculous. I have accounts at another Financial institution and there mobile app is AWESOME!!! No waiting for approval or for the deposit to be posted and I can conduct any transaction I want within the dollar limits they have in place which is within the transactions I conduct. Since the process is so cumbersome, I called your call center, they stated there was a charge to make a loan payment using my checking....Again that’s not customer service!!! You may want to consider changing something to make things easier to conduct business. I gave two stars because your app does allow access to view account/loan history.
For the most part, my use of this app (or its website version on my laptop) is to check my account balance and recent transactions. Complete satisfaction on this. The login is smooth and timely, and it remembers my info (like other sites, but worth mentioning). I immediately see my accounts listed in a column (in my case just one,) each described by account type with current balance. When I click on an account I see all transactions and can scroll. It is clear which ones are processed and which ones are "pending." Each transaction is accompanied by the date it was processed. I also like that security notifications (with date) appear in "messages" inbox that can be accessed from the menu. And I like that there is a "locations" button for finding banks on a map. I have not tried a "funds transfer" since about a year and a half ago, so the following may have changed since. Or, maybe directions are not quite clear and I don't know enough about the function. But anyways, I tried once to do a funds transfer to someone else's account and it seemed I could only do so between accounts of my own. This is why I then sought out a payment transfer app such as venmo, cash app, or zelle. I have been using Zelle the past several months in attachment with my bank account and it works wonderfully. Unfortunately, though I received a popup recently stating that NWSB has joined the Zelle party in one way or another, I do not know what this means for me or how I can change my transfer process in order to take advantage of the new partnership. I guess that, in summary, the con I have to share is that communication around how NWSB is linked with payment transfer (in the form of distinct app(s) or this one) should be clearer. Overall, hip hip hooray! Thank you for this app, it is easy to use.
