Shoebox - Cloud Photo Storage

Loved this app and I am very sad to see it go ... now I’m having a huge problem with exporting my photos to my phone. The in app message says “it takes five minutes” ... I have now been exporting photos for over ten hours and my account is not even close to being done exporting. I followed the instructions on the app (which are the same as the ones on the website when I click on app support) and it has been taking ALL DAY. Not sure if it could be because of other people’s accounts being exported or something to do with my WiFi or what. It’s also having hundreds of errors exporting - do I just run the entire export over and over until I have no more errors?? Still giving five stars because this app has been absolutely incredible, just wish I didn’t have to keep my phone on and the app open literally all day in order to save my memories.

When Microsoft killed my email after telling me to create a new one & my main one would NOT be affected (cyber-stalker) along with it went my 1tb one drive with my nearly 21yr olds entire life’s worth of photos, my deceased beloved show horse who was that 1 special horse, if you’ve ever been around horses you’d understand you get that 1 that never leaves your heart they rise above everything else in your memories you sacrificed everything for them, spent every waking second with them well he was it. In one second every single photo I had was gone I literally started crying so hard I vomited but after google photos deleted my photos because of the unlimited photo size continuously resetting. Out of the blue Shoebox saved the day with my photos going back to 2002!!! Thank You Shoebox!!!

I was introduced to this app by some random girl I was chatting to online. I was complaining that I always lose all my iPhone photos when I get a new phone because I refuse to pay for Apple’s gimmicky “iCloud” service. She recommended I download Shoebox, and app she personally uses to solve the problem of losing photos. I downloaded, seamlessly uploaded all of my photos and videos to Shoebox’s servers, and immediately got out all my old iPhones too upload all my photos from them too! Finally, I can view and download all my old photos on my new iPhone easily! This is great :) I chose to use the secure iCloud password, which is very hard to remember, so I recommend keeping your password somewhere you can remember Incase you break your iPhone and can no longer access your iCloud Keychain to put your difficult to remember password in!
