Word Social is a great real-time competition game for those who like word finding. Each round is nice and short, so you can still play if you're short on time. I enjoy measuring my word skills against others. The ads don't get in the way of play—I've never accidentally clicked on one like I do in some games.
Just don't expect it to be social in a "social networking" kind of way. You can see the names and scores of other competitors, but there is no message or chat feature. I'm also not sure how Game Center makes it better: I can't find achievements, or challenges, or a leader board. But this isn't a problem with the game—just don't expect the wrong thing because of the title.

I don't know why this game isn't more popular. It's the best b0ggle game out there. Play in real time against everyone else who is currently playing - it's awesome! And if you don't want to sign in, you can play as a guest. So simple and fun. Tell your friends!
Hint to the developers: the option of a 5x5 board with a 4-letter minimum would enhance this already awesome app.

It's a social (i.e., party) because everybody who's online plays against each other! Everybody sees the same grid at the same time. At the end of each 2-minute game, you find out how well you did against your competition.
