I really like the game, and that need to play a good tower defense type game and this was the first to come to mind.
Then I did a test and realized the one thing I really don’t like, the reason for the four star and not five.
When you buy upgrades for your Tower, say a rifleman, in the “upgrade” panel, if you buy the second level upgrade (machine gunner) it’s not an upgrade, it’s a replacement.
Meaning that if you paid for an extra 10 points on the first level (three chevrons and plus ten points after that), you lose all that advancement you paid for and the new gunner starts over from zero.
Try it, put every penny into just upgrading the first level tower and then buy one level machine gunner, now play one level you already passed with three chevron only, then the same level with the next upgraded tower. very different results, and it changes how you play the game completely.,

This game would have gotten a better rating but the tournament quit working about a week and a half ago. Also, has no way to grind for stuff except to watch videos over and over. Other than that I find it to be a quality build and fun to play.

Fun game and each level requires different strategies to win, BUT ever since the tournament quit working it has become boring. PLEASE FIX THE TOURNAMENT! For now I play cooperative but you max out at 1660 stars no matter if you manage to let zero enemies into the tower or 99. You got way more stars in tournament play. The app also crashes sometimes. FYI, I have two Toy Defense original apps. One has a blue app face and the other has the original colors. One requires you to log into a social network to play the tournament (no way I’m doing that) and the other says zero days until tournament opens but it has quit opening the tournament feature which would cycle off and on.
