Daily Connect: Childcare App

UPDATED: The app is easy to use and a great way to connect as a parent with the daycare center. The developer contacted me and explained the issue I was having with the Settings. The issue is not the Daily Connect app, it’s that the childcare provider turned off certain settings. OLD: Where did the option to “Customize Home Page” go? Under “Settings”, “Customize Labels” is there but “Customize Home Page” is gone. The icons that are displayed now on my Home Page are completely useless to me.

As a childcare provider, managing daily tasks and communication with parents used to be overwhelming. But since we started using Daily Connect, everything has become so much easier. The app is incredibly user-friendly, and it allows us to keep parents updated in real-time with photos, activities, and important milestones. The ability to track each child's progress and customize reports has made our daily operations much more efficient. Parents love the transparency and the peace of mind they get from being so closely connected to their child's day. Daily Connect has truly transformed the way we run our center, making it more organized, streamlined, and connected. We can’t imagine going back to the old way of doing things. Highly recommend this app to any childcare provider looking to enhance communication and improve overall management!

I’m a teacher who is required to use this app. In short, teachers and centers don’t waste your time. It kicks students out of my classroom daily so I can’t log anything for them with no way to get them back on my own classroom device, so I have to go to another classroom and use one specific device every time I need to fix it. I have parents who can’t view or download documents, and I don’t have the emails so it’s how I’m required to send newsletters. I’m admittedly picky about this, but I don’t like the design of the app (fonts, images, icons, etc.). I think it looks cheap and tacky. The only reason I gave it two star is because it does what it’s supposed to 50% of the time. Teachers and centers, run away! Pick something else, like brightwheel.
