I have read this for many years, it is my favourite translation. I would love to have this on iBooks as a ePub or PDF, so that I can listen to it via text to speech; or to have the app allow VoiceOver to read its text. Regardless, I am thankful for this iOS 10 update.

I love this application! I have never read other English versions of the Tao Te Ching to which I could compare, but I feel this is a well written version that is easy to understand. I will note that the Tao itself, with it's abstract concepts, is probably not easily understood by most people. However, it becomes quite clear when a person is ready to "listen" to the message of the Tao. As for the images, I think some are well matched while others do not follow as well with the messages conveyed in text.

Absolutely the best version of the Tao you can get through ITunes. The translation is fluid and pertains to the original spirit of the teachings, but has its own unique character. Peace!
