Puzzle Bonzai is a lovingly crafted and beautifully rendered game with wonderfully subtle and organic animation, which is coupled with a calming and thematically rich instrumental soundtrack. The gameplay itself stimulates the deepest parts of your mind and on so many different levels that you can almost feel the synapses flash-firing. Everything about this game is cradled ever so softly in such a stately elegance that you cannot help but enjoy the experience and the challenge...which is very real, indeed.

This very polished puzzle app offers great variety with separate categories of puzzles involving words, numbers and shapes. The puzzle types are tied together using the concept of operators, which are placed by the user at intersecting branches of the bonsai tree to evaluate 2 elements together. The object of each puzzle is to select the various operators and provide the expected solution at the base of the tree. The game provides puzzles at easy, medium and hard difficulty levels. The easy level provides a good introduction for how to use the operators, but many of these puzzles will still make you think. By the time I got into the medium level puzzles, in many cases I was very challenged. Hard puzzles will most likely make your brain hurt! If that is not enough, the developer is providing daily puzzles for us to solve. This ensures I will be enjoying this app for a long time. The game has wonderful graphics and sound support to go with the outstanding puzzles. I noticed a lot of attention to detail too. For instance, you can see your Game Center ID in the credits as long as you are logged in to Game Center. Also, at the main and level select screens, if you touch an area around the bonsai tree, the branches will sway in the direction of your touch. Very good puzzle. Difficulty of levels starts out easy and gets more challenging as you go. Nice options tp play with numbers, letters, or symbols. The graphics are lovely, and the music is very zen-like and soothing. The animations are good too! Hope this will keep updating with new levels. Thank you!
