The temperatures are spot on. The real time weather warnings (heavy rain near Green Valley, lightning within 0.1 miles of your location) are very helpful during the monsoon. For instance, we’re a week away from the official start of the monsoon and no rain was expected. There had been afternoon Virga the day before. I was surprised when I got the rain alert which gave me just enough time to get home. I also love that within a minute of a broadcast on tv, there’s a quiet alert that that a video of the forecast is available. Erin Christensen also pops up for video updates. She is the best meteorologist of anywhere I have lived like New York and D.C. so glad she returned to KOLD. By the way, it was my friends around the country and the world who noticed that I lived in a hot environment and the station call letters are KOLD (cold).

This is very accurate and detailed. I always know what is going on whenever I am home or even away. You can have the app follow you to give you precise weather wherever you are or always keep an eye on a specific place like home. This is especially important to me during monsoon season. My daughter is only two miles away, I have watched a thunderstorm pummel her area and was able to keep her informed. And the people driving to her house. The active radar is addicting during scattered thunderstorms. I know when to watch the storms roll in.

I have lived in quite a few cities and major cities in the US in my lifetime! I have never seen another weather-cast as Good as KOLD 13. This program is certainly Top Shelf… the information given , the stats and the charts and comparison and information about records is so interesting. I look forward to watching the “show” every day. I won’t miss it. Everyone on the staff and the presenters are fantastic, and truly professional. Keep up the excellent work !!! I have the First Alert App and love it. It’s an excellent tool.
