Pray Always †

Unless I am missing it, there are no hymns from the Lenten Triodion. It is so important it warrants its own section, and includes Holy Week. It does not need to be comprehensive, but inclusion of the basic Kontakia beginning with the Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee, as well as the special Triodion hymns following the Sunday Matins Gospel (“Open to me the doors of repentance...”) would be essential, plus the Prayer of St Ephraim the Syrian. The same basic content as the Jordanville Prayer Book would enable the user to proceed through the Pre-Lent period, Great Lent, and Holy Week with the means of keeping their prayer rule in sync with the church. Although an Anglican, I use this app regularly in my prayer life. It is filled with deep and wonderful prayers and the app format makes them so easy to use. I do wish it would adjust dark/night with the system settings, but that does not detract from the riches it contains.
