Worth Credit Union Mobile App

Using the app it is ridiculously difficult to make a mobile deposit using this app. I have never successfully been able to do it. It makes me take photos over and over and over and over and over and rejects the images no matter how many times I adjust the camera, lighting, framing, you name it. The ONE time it was a successful photo and *supposed* deposit, I had to wait two days only to learn the deposit was rejected due to God knows what, and I had to call to even find that out. I wanted to know one time how I needed to endorse my check for mobile or night drop deposit, and it was nowhere to be found. When I try to find out ANY information from the app, it has nothing. That was the app review. The bank review is lukewarm. The mobile alerts are useless, as they arrive a day or more after the actual event, depending on whether it’s a weekend. Since when does an automatic alert need to depend on office hours? If there is a purchase on my debit card, even if it is over the weekend or after 5pm, I expect a text right away. What if it was fraud? I would never know in time to do anything about it before something catastrophic happened in my account. This is no bueno. If I made the purchase myself, I want to know the transaction was successful. Similarly, if I make a deposit of ANY kind (in person, drive thru, mobile, night drop), I want to know the moment it’s successful, and I don’t mean when it’s posted. I want to know when it was DEPOSITED. Last time i made a mobile deposit, it was held for review. Fine. But it disappeared into thin air. Not any evidence at all that I attempted a deposit. I want to see a PENDING deposit in my account. The banking hours on Saturday are not long enough. Noon is very early to close on a Saturday. 1pm is the earliest I’ve seen with any of my previous banks. I became accustomed to a certain standard of service from my previous bank, and since switching I have been disappointed with FTWCCU at almost every turn.

I recently switched to this bank for convenience since my vehicle payment is here. I was with my previous bank 13 years I guess I’m used to a certain standard. As I am a hairstylist I deposit checks daily and it takes a half a day or longer most times for my deposit to show up. I deposited a check on Sunday evening and it is now 9:30 in the morning it is still not showing up. I could’ve driven to the bank and did my banking instead I’m sitting here waiting God knows how long for my money. Also when you take coins in to be counted they charge 3% after $30. My previous bank when you deposited a check it showed up within 10 minutes, and they allowed you up to $250 change to be counted per day before they charged you a fee. 🤨

I love having this app and do most of my banking from it without ever having to sign on the site. I was really happy when recently they added the reminders for bill pay since I have the ebill set up on site but didn't have anything on app to show which were due or how much was due. It is frustrating because I can't get rid of one if I paid it by another source and so therefore not due anymore. Hoping they continue to add to it and make it even better 😊
