Hello everyone im heard to tell the good and bad about jimmy johns i dont jump on bandwagons for people so my throughts are my own no one else. I order jimmy johns atleast 2-3 times a month on average sometings more show i like there sanwinches if i didnt like jimmy johns i wouldnt order there awfulton right so now you know the good part now for the bad. jimmy johns claims freaky fast delivery atleast in my area i had to wait over an hour for my food to come at times so be aware there really busy on the weekends if its more than an hour call the store and ask for the general or regional manager to see if they can possibly give you the order for free or next order for free. i personally had to do this a couple times my store manager and employees know me really well because i order there alot so the wanna keep me as a customer so they usually do as i ask. final thoughts jimmy johns has great food but delivery times need to be better.
I used to order food on an app and usually stuck to pizzas, but after frustrations in trying to build custom orders that wouldn’t save to the next screen so I had to start all over, and discounts listed on the site that many times wouldn’t work at checkout, I had always thought of finally trying something different. Friends had recently needed me to order subs since I was the one who had my phone handy, so I quickly set up a free Jimmy John’s account, ordered for everyone, easily clicked to redeem the listed daily JJ’s discount deal, and everything went quickly without any hassle. A week later I received an email & app notification for a FREE sub of my choice reward for my birthday! And I also get their periodic notifications for other really valuable deals. ($5 off $20 order, etc - almost like getting a sandwich free!) Jimmy John’s has nailed convenience & great customer service with their app! Super easy to navigate, very detailed menu descriptions so you know exactly what you’re getting, VERY simple to customize each sandwich and other items, and once you place the order, you feel confident in the process because you get an immediate confirmation email and phone notification letting you know the store received the order. You can click to pay with cash, card, and Apple Pay, and you can choose to add a delivery driver tip right into the total if you’d like. And the orders have all been 100% correct when they’re delivered! Definitely for my friends & I, Jimmy John’s has out-pizza’d The Hut!
I open the app, click my freaky fast delivery, and it's at my door step before I can lock my phone. Love this app.... sometimes they forget to read your special instructions though, not the apps fault though. Jimmy johns should alter their software so that the instructions are printed in bold and up by the order, rather than at the very bottom of the super long ticket. This would make it easier for the employee to identify and apply the special instructions, instead of missing or overlooking these significant specifications given by the customer. This will save jimmy johns a small fortune. You will be Minimizing order remakes, which cuts back on waste, minimizing the amount drivers have to re deliver food, cutting down on wasted driving time, and minimizing costumer neglect complaints in response to a very common reoccurring mistake, which increases likelihood of return business. Your customer took the time to type those instructions. When they are overlooked or "ignored" (as the customer will perceive this) then your customer feels like they wasted their time, now they are wasting their money, and that the service provider (jimmy johns) does not appreciate the customer and the customers business. This being not the case, just the customers perception, can cause unfortunate circumstances leading to loss of business, loss of future business, and bad publicity for the service provider amongst the customers associates and affiliates causing more loss of future business. Super easy fix, just move the placement of the note on the receipt/ticket so it's less likely to be overlooked... cause I'm tired of my order getting messed up.
