I've been listening to Solar for over 10 yrs. IMO no other station comes close for lovers of classic and new r&b, soul, funk, jazz, dance, electronic music and hip-hop. The DJs are experts and very knowledgable about their music. Tony Monson, Dave Brown, Les Adams (he has a great podcast for his sat show) are just a few of my favs! No commercial crap stuff here -

Solar is Awesome! They don't always play the same 20 songs!! When it comes to Old School, they definetly dig through their crates, When it comes to New Soul, they dig really deep! No matter what, they play an endless amount of variety, which I love! They specialize in: ————— Rare Groove Modern Soul Funk Disco House Neo-Soul Jazz HipHop New Soul Old School R&B And More!!! So if you like any of the types of music listed above, and you want to hear a big amount of variety (which I definetly do...) then check out Solar Radio! Soul lovers will love it, GUARANTEED!
