im in the minority! so dont take my words too seriously. i love the idea of this app! every note and guidance mahler has to offer and translated? thats genius! and think of how much time each translation had to take. i can that tell so much effort was put into this. and my one problem isnt even really the developers fault. my ONE problem is that all of these words are kinda meaningless without any context behind them. yes! it is a beautiful thing to read mahler’s interpretation of his own work! but which work? you can buy the translations to different symphonies! but i doubt that will solve this problem completely. i keep calling this a “problem” but maybe i just wrongly expected something different? anyway im getting off on a tangent and you get it and want me to shut up. contest me! tell me im wrong! i would love to have my mind changed.
This is a great app, but a few small things I would like to see... -it would be great if the words you type in were a different color other than white— it makes it hard to see what words I’m typing in -Sometimes, not often, the app will not load any words when I type one in: this happens with exact grammar too. Restarting the app makes this work though
First thing I looked up was not here. From Mahler 9–ta”ppisch. Still, I will look again for the next.
Mahler Translations contains over 2300 English translations of the German words and phrases found in the symphonic works of Gustav Mahler. Now in-app...
