I’ve ordered a few times with this app and I enjoy the amount of options they have, but the service is not great. Usually I have to wait much longer for my food than what is originally indicated. I once waited over an hour longer than originally pointed out for my meal; I sent a few emails to the app’s customer service and I never received a response.
Like I said, great options, but expect to wait longer than indicated for your food and don’t rely on the customer service.

I made order at 8:45 am to be delivered to RAI Amsterdam. It took over an hour for the simple breakfast (2 sandwich and 2 coffee) to be prepared. I was hungry and needed to attend a conference session before lunch. As such, I looked at my phone regularly to track the updates. Finally after an hour, the app said my food was on the way. The app showed the deliverer near the address but not at the address. I went outside of the building and waited for ten minutes during when I looked at my phone all the time. All of a sudden, the app said order was delivered but I saw no deliverer at the location. I asked security guard who said they didn’t see anyone delivering food either. I made multiple attempt to get help from the app. No real help was given. I eventually never received my order. I asked for a refund. They refused. I asked for proof of delivery. They were not able to provide any proof. They took my money and wasted my time just like that. If I can give zero star, I’ll definitely do that. The app only cares about making money but did nothing to safeguard customer experience or the very basic of whether the goods was delivered or not. I’m in The Netherlands for a business trip. This really gave a very bad impression of the city.

I never got to eat the food that I ordered through Thuisbezorgd because the delivery person never showed. When I called De Vegetarische Snackbar about my order, they said no one answered the door and they tried calling me. I was sitting at the door with my phone and sat there for another twenty minutes after the food was supposed to be delivered; there were also three people in the building lobby that did not see the delivery person so they must have gone to the wrong place. I have used Thuisbezorgd several times and this is the first time this has happened, but it is especially disappointing because I have missed De Vegetarische Snackbar when they have been open. After calling, De Vegetarische Snackbar offered for my cold food to be delivered in 45 minutes as their remedy with no apology and Thuisbezorgd stopped responding to me to resolve the matter. I probably won’t use them again, but hopefully they add an option to tip within the app, specifically after food is delivered.
