Good UI concept. Simple and straightforward but very buggy. Could not even get 3 songs to play in a row in the queue on the iPad or to Apple TV without constantly having to hit play/pause or skip to next song button. Glad I tested before the party but wasted 99cents.
App is exactly what I was looking for, on-the-fly picking of songs to play during a party or dinner. What it needs is an on-screen volume control and airplay button. Got around the airplay functionality by running the standard music app, choosing the airplay speakers I wanted. Then going to Party Jukebox and selecting the songs I wanted. Fortunately it 'remembers' the redirection to the airplay speakers. I also have no idea what the two icons at the bottom do. They look like 'playlist' and 'edit' icons, bit are dimmed on both my iPad and my iPod touch. Maybe it's something that 'broke' in IOS 5.01? Otherwise, I like this and will recommend to some friends that were asking for this type of jukebox app.
It works great as a jukebox, but once you leave this app. it stops playing and it will erase all of the songs that were in the list. I'm stll looking for an app that will use the iPod with jukebox function. So far Jukebox DJ is the closest thing that works, but still does not play the next song outside of that app.
