AI Avatars Maker for VRChat

They charge you before you even get to see what the app is like. As soon as you open it you need to pay. Upon paying, you do NOT get to make an avatar. You get to pick one from a list of about 20 of them. And theyre all ugly trash. You cannot edit them in any way. This whole thing is a scam

As a computer science major, as well as a VRChat avatar creator myself, the ability for a mobile app to do this is not possible. I downloaded the app to test out my theory and here are my findings:Red flag #1: there is no way to see the product in action unless you agree to pay the fee first (a classic bait and switch technique in scamming)Red flag number 2: upon looking at the reviews (considering this app has a rather high rating), I was able to determine that the 5 star reviews (at the time of writing this) are also AI written reviews. Fake reviews often consist of writing extensively about the app as if it were an advertisement, rather about the personal experience a user has with the product. The reviews also consist of barely any grammatical errors which is also a common feature of AI writing. With no human feelings or mistakes in any of these reviews, it is pretty easy to see this is AI writing.Red Flag number 3:I have yet to see any AI models that create 3d works, which makes me believe that one does not exist as of yet. the idea of the first 3d model maker to be of a VRChat avatar seems way to narrow of a field. We would have most likely seen more generic models being released beforehand first. Even if this was legit, I’d venture to say that this author would have showcased this as well for his/her portfolio. Seeing as this is not the case leads me to believe that this is a scam.Now while these are all speculations, I cannot test it because I’d have to pay the fee first before seeing it in action. Unless this is fixed, I will assume this is a scam, and I suggest others to stay away from this app. While 3 dollars may not be a lot for you to test it, it adds up in the end for the scammers total income.

They try to sneak a charge in as soon as you open the app WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE. If you actually want free avatars you will need a pc. It can be ANY pc though as long as it has currentish hardware. (Honestly you could prob find ppl who will upload an avi for you if you have the file!) but there are SOO many free ones for dl. Just google “free vrchat avatars” find a site and then search “website here, Reddit” to see if it is safe or not! This app has no avatars and is only interested in charging you for a scam page. The reviews are all bots.
