Now that the Apple Watch is working again, every time I look at my watch to check my blood sugar, the Simplera complication is showing the refresh arrow. So basically I have to tap the complication every time to open the app in order to get the reading. Not very useful.
I have been using Medtronic since 2020, (I also used Dexcom G6 and Libre) first Guardian 3, then Guardian 4 and since January 2025 Simplera, as a suggestion for improving Simplera, I would recommend making the inserter easier to insert, for a 9 year old child at 30Kg, pressing so hard to insert the sensor that it can come out on other sides... to be done with the Carelink application, I don't think it's right that when the child is at school they take out their phone all the time during classes to see their blood sugar like a tracker,.. I also noticed that the signal is lost much more often than with Guardian, at 1m distance if they turn their back to the main phone, otherwise they don't have a lower signal, otherwise it's not too low... compared to capillary blood sugar, it's easier without having to wait to charge the transmitter. Hello. So I’ve been using the Simplera app for a month now, for me it’s been working well, I had no issues with the app and all the features were working great. The only suggestion I want the developers to take into consideration is making the Simplera app sync with Apple Health like the Guardian Connect app. From a heavy user of the Apple Health, as a Type 1 diabetic, would be amazing having my blood glucose information on the app. Just take it into consideration. Other than that, great app and stunning sensor! Keep it up!
