It's actually that stupid. When the wifi connection is lost, the bathroom fan starts flashing the light and disables the fan. The main function it's supposedly designed to perform. Your internet provider is now responsible for your bathroom humidity. Not even mentioning the fan won't start working out of the box unless you install the app. It's extremely annoying, never again will I buy their product

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews, I’ve had a smart fan from this company for over a year, so far so good other then a time it made noice but that was due to the installation being incorrect. Don’t rly use this app just use Alexa but the app looks clean and product is good. At least my unit, idk bout other people. I’m NoT a bot.

This is the worst company I have ever worked with. If you need support you better have all day because they won’t answer the phone and it will take hours for them to call you back. Their products required independent network and multiple apps downloaded out on your phone. Just turn on. if you have purchased this product, take it back immediately
