The content is great. The UI feels clean. However, I have had multiple issues with being able to watch videos on the app (which is what 90% of the app is). Audio frequently cuts out and I have to pause the video and unpause to get the audio back. This can occur as often as every 30 seconds and ruins the learning experience. There is also some type of bug where changing the video into landscape mode can cause the video and sometimes the whole app to freeze. I have to open and quit the app multiple times to get one video to play. It will for sure freeze the video every single time I change to landscape. This is very frustrating. I have the same issues on my ipad. My only work around is to only use the website for content viewing. When the app works, it’s great.

I have been in EMS 25 years and have sat through mind-numbing classes and refreshers so many times. Then comes FoamFrat. Tyler, Sam and the rest of the crew really know how to educate in a way that you don’t want to give yourself a lobotomy with a rusty hand drill. We use FoamFrat service wide. One of the best training decisions we’ve done. The content is put out in a way that goes above and beyond what we “need” to know, but but goes into detail as to the why, how and when. It is presented in a fun, easy to understand way as well. I am envious that I don’t live closer to be able to be part of this amazing group. Keep up the great work!

The FoamFrat team has kicked it out of the park with this app. As an EMS educator, FoamFrat is a resource I pass along to students at all levels to supplement our discussions in the classroom, and a FoamFrat membership is my #1 suggestion when students are preparing to graduate & begin considering where to seek out continuing education. I know I can trust the clinical accuracy of their content as well as their teaching methods. I know that engaging in the type of medical education found in Studio & across FoamFrat’s blog & podcast creates lifelong learners who are passionate about self improvement and providing high-quality care. Most importantly, I know that FoamFrat is a top-notch company made up of EMS clinicians and educators who are not just amazing at what they do, but are in it for all of the right reasons. The addition of an easy to use, sleek app makes accessing their high-quality & engaging continuing education so much easier for busy providers. This app will make engaging in CE easier for those of us who have been longtime FoamFrat subscribers & no doubt will extend the reach of this fantastic company to many more.
