Sharp AI: Photo Enhancer

At first this seemed like it would really be useful but the app is limited to only 3 AI enhancements. The expand feature ever worked correctly creating a terrible false backdrop. The enhance feature does not have any reference for words the AI will understand. Most of the time enhance wouldn’t even make the correction and/or failed telling me to come back later? I paid money for this! The remove function fails usually as it doesn’t know what to do so it just removes the area and inserts black over the area of interest. The face and background enhance work pretty well for most of the pictures I tried. I paid for a second week and recently cancelled the subscription. I should still be able to use the app until it expires in 3 or 4 days. Well attempted to use it right now and it will not process any requests from AI. States come back later??? This is not worth $8 for a week or a month. It’s too limited and will fail to provide an enhanced image.

UPDATE 2 MONTHs:: Since developer won’t respond to my emails, here’s what I wrote: I have written y’all several times and nothing is being done about the continuing severe LAGGING problem I keep experiencing with your app! Is anyone even reading these emails?? The slow lagging issue has become so bad that 8 out of 10 times I try to use your app I have to finally cancel and give up, as nothing happens. What’s the deal here? It’s frustrating as it is, not being able to batch edit photos, but now the insanely slow loading makes this app completely useless and a total waste of time AND money, for those of us who have paid for the program! Will be awaiting some sort of response, I guess… still waiting… UPDATE (1 month since my last)- I use this app daily, for dozens of photos each day. I’ve written developer with no response, so I’ll just start updating here each month! It’s ridiculously SLOW… that’s when it even wants to work at all! I USED to love this app! Idk what’s up but none of my pics will render anymore! Is the app broken or something?? Also, when it was working, only close-up face photos were the only ones that would halfway process. Even then, they make our faces look WEIRD- like fake overly facetuned & just BAD. Also… It takes way too long to load each photo, especially when you switch to HQmax to MAX settings. Lastly there is no batch mode, which is a must for us who have loads to edit!! I’ve been waiting for this developer to kick this app up a few notches, but after nearly 6 months I’m editing my original review & knocking 5* down to 1*.

I draw people so I need photos to not be blurry when when I either print the reference of that person or when I look at it on my phone. I got this app cause it looked really good on tiktok and it said the service was free to use so I gave it shot. It does a very nice job with people, no pixels on there face or eyes, it’s really nice. You only can use a head shot though because when it come to the full body it doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t pick up on pets either. It doesn’t do anything to them either. But I only do face shots of people so the app works for me really nicely. I haven’t printed the photos yet to see what happens but I’ll leave another one when I do.
