It needs work. Some photos came out really good. But even more came out bad. I had a photo that made me cockeyed and had a tooth on the outside of my lip while I was smiling. I had another that changed my ethnicity completely. Smiling and it made me Asian(love Asians, but it just didn’t look like me). And a black friend in a black and white photo that ended up looking like he put on sunscreen and had a slight white cast look like it didn’t rub in well enough. Also the eyes need a lot of work. This is all with enhance btw. The eyes either get misplaced or look black and evil on some pictures when smiling and it’s a slight squint. The colorize one is ok. The automation would be fun to play with for some. But I didn’t like it at all. Looks way too unnatural for me. Like it stretches the faces around to move in weird ways. And the scratch one didn’t work well. Didn’t fix the scratches in photos and just filled in black in areas that weren’t scratched. Like where like was shining or had a white or light background in some areas. With that being said, for the ones that do come out well, makes the app worth it. And knowing that the developers and looking for ways to improve their app, and not just leaving things as is, is a plus. I 100% recommend this app. Some photos came out as advertised and that was enough for me. Oh, that smart edit made things too bright. Lightened skin or added too much brightness to photos. I only like enhance for the most part. And maybe colorize.

First of all, I am writing this review in the hopes it will make the irritating pop up disappear every 4th click of the app while processing an image. And that leads to the too many clicks complaint. I am processing 57 headshots all stored in a single folder in Apple Photos. When i finish one picture, I am back at the start screen and must click on the + button, then the choose from library button, then gallery button, then the albums button, then click on the album containing my 57 headshots. Then scroll down to the next picture in my project. Why can’t it simply leave me in the same album so I can scroll and select the next photo? Overall, this app is useful. My project is a graduating class shot of 57 folks taken in 1961. I cropped the 57 faces into 57 headshots which are very grainy. I am no photoshop ace so this app is doing fast work of converting the shots into pretty good representations of each person. One really bad part of the app is those who wore glasses are getting very strange eyes. The app simply cannot handle the reflections from the flash, the glasses and the eyeball.
