Love this app for keeping up with sales on my favorite games!! It’s great that I can have notifications sent to my phone as well!! Great app! ❤️
As of January 2025, the iPad app doesn’t have iPad app notifications like the original version. It does have email notifications … but I need another email like I need a hole in the head. I do love the CheapCharts original version, which I’ve used a ton for movies. I’m hoping at some point the developers add the in-app notifications and it eventually gets to the same feature set as the original CheapCharts app. It’s also great that they’ve combined Nintendo, PlayStation, Steam, and XBox since some of the other apps keep those stores separate, which is a hassle. I would love to see a price comparison across platforms / stores since that would help purchase decisions knowing that most of the games I’m playing are cheaper on a particular platform.
First of all, I’d like to say that the devs here do genuinely listen to the complaints and fix any problem. Now then, there’re still some issues present, such as: 1️⃣Not enough available platforms, it’d be nice to see platforms like Epic Games, GOG, etc…as well. And associated with the Steam portion, it’d be nice to have Steam Deck compatibility details for each game. 2️⃣When browsing items and I happen to see ones that are already on my wishlist—it will sometimes not present it as such unless you attempt to (re-)add it to your wishlist, in which then the app remembers and tells you it’s already there. 3️⃣Details regarding pricing don’t update in real-time…there’ll be situations where price information contradicts. 4️⃣Finally, there are no notification options for the app, there’s only the standard Email notification option (which does do the job), but I’d like notifications from the app itself—with a counter on the app icon telling me the number of new deals available on my wishlist.
