Great cams for a great price even with premium services locking a few things. An sd card is enough for recording. Two way is great. Only one problem after this smart update not seeing the settings in the mobile app and don’t seem to have mobile control of the smart mode even after updating the app on ios fix this for a 5 star. Added note: after the last few updates I noticed, and this is persistent 100% of the time if you zoom in far enough, the video will freeze every time when you zoom into a certain point. This needs to be fixed because it is a major issue with what I’m using the cameras for. They’re essentially being used as a nanny cam which means if I can’t zoom in without the video freezing, that’s a big issue please fix this

This was very easy to set up. Much easier than the last one that I had, but I changed to 5G and my old one would not accept it. One problem, I see is the sensitivity on the camera. I have some small bushes very near the camera location and if there is a wind, the bushes move, just a little. The camera picks it up and starts recording a video. In 15 minutes now I have 18 videos. I’m glad I turned the alarm off. Is there anyway to change the sensitivity on the camera? Also, the camera doesn’t take a video of the face of the person coming to my door. The camera is mounted right above the door, but the camera only takes a video if the top of any visitor’s head.

I installed the app and went to register. The app just stayed stuck on a white screen and you couldn’t go any further. This is the only app to control the camera so without it it’s pretty much useless. I tried it again the next day and the app was back online and was able to register no problem. The only thing I can think of was that there was some sort of internet blackout to the China servers. Anyways, I was able to pair my camera with the app and got it working. I have to admit that after that brief frustration initial period of set up, the camera did work pretty good. Picture is very nice and the motion tracking works well. I’m half and half on recommending this camera. I like the features and the picture quality. When it’s working it works good. Will there be server downtime again? I can’t say. Just remember to read their terms of service because they do collect information such as assignment of personal number ID for identification and facial recognition and more. So it’s up to the individuals if you want to be exposed like this.
